Midrand Canopy Centre have been supplying and fitting quality Bakkie Tralies products since 2000. Our products are built to last and our fitments are speedy and accurate.

Made out of Mild Steel, powder coated or galvanised with 50mm piping, these rails are strong and sturdy. Weve been manufacturing Bakkie Tralies since 45 years ago.

Tralies for bakkies are best known as Skaap Tralies, Cattle Rails and/or Stockman Rails. These are all one and the same thing.  Generally used for loading  sheep/cattle onto the vehicle preventing the livestock rom escaping, it was and still is it’s primary purpose. In this day and age, the so called cattle rails are now used for either loading other types of goods and generally admired for it’s macho looks.

Midrand Canopy Centre provides a wide array of other accessories as well. We supply and fit canopies, bull bars tow bars and do rubberizing of just about all types of bakkies.

Stockman Rails

Our latest design includes a detachable gate and the cross bars can also be removed if you do not wish to install a canvas cover. Other accessories can be added to the Cattle Rail such a canvas cover.

 

Multi Purpose Use

These rails are also used for various other purposes, providing adequate protection whilst transporting goods. The standard cattle rail does not include a canvas cover which is a separate accessory. Should you require a quote, feel free to enquire. Cnvas covers are made on request.

Bakkie Tralies/Cattle Rails

We have Tralies for just about any Bakkie with exception of larger bakkies such as the Hyundai and the Kia. We stock rails for most of the latest bakkies , whilst others are specifically built order. Manufacturing usually takes approximately 3 weeks.

Fitment is  quick and easy generally taking around 2 to 3 hours.  Goods take at least 48 hrs from the time of placing your order, subject to availability.

If you’re outside of Gauteng, we can ship the goods to you for an additional charge, provided you are within the borders of SA,  Should you wish to purchase the goods online, the rails are relatively easy  to install.
